Accessibility Statement
ApexCommerce Engine is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We believe everyone should be able to discover, read, and interact with our AI-powered commerce platform.
Our commitment
We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards, including the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA, where technically feasible.
Our goal is to make the ApexCommerce Engine public site and admin dashboards usable by people with visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive disabilities. We test with keyboard navigation, screen-reader workflows, and assistive-technology combinations during development and before major releases.
Supported assistive technologies
We design and test with the following assistive technologies and environments in mind:
- Screen readers (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, TalkBack)
- Keyboard-only navigation and visible focus indicators
- Browser zoom up to 200% without loss of content
- High-contrast and reduced-motion preferences
- Voice control and speech-recognition tools
- Captions and transcripts for video content
Known limitations
While we strive for full accessibility, some parts of the platform may present limitations today:
- AI-generated charts and visualizations may lack full textual alternatives in some dashboards.
- Third-party embedded content (social feeds, external videos, maps) may not conform to the same standards as our own code.
- Generated images and product media may have automated alt text that is occasionally incomplete.
- Rapidly evolving admin dashboards may receive accessibility improvements in subsequent releases.
We treat these as active work items and update them as the platform evolves. If you encounter an issue not listed here, please let us know.
